Coming out of Chicago’s Southside, rising Hip-Hop and R&B artist Dinero Montaro is making his introduction to the music industry on his own terms. With a sound he calls Trap&B, an independent record label, and an entrepreneurial mindset, Montaro is determined to build something that extends far beyond music.

Raised on the Southside of Chicago, Montaro experienced firsthand the challenges of growing up in an environment where violence was an everyday reality. In June 2006, he made the decision to leave Chicago in pursuit of a different future, eventually relocating to Arizona.

Although his surroundings changed, the experiences that shaped him remained a major influence on his creativity.

Interestingly, Montaro’s artistic journey didn’t begin with music. As a child, he loved drawing, using his imagination to express himself long before he began writing songs. His appreciation for Hip-Hop, R&B, gospel, and other musical genres eventually inspired him to explore recording his own material.

What makes his journey even more interesting is that he only began pursuing music professionally less than a year ago.

Rather than waiting for a producer to recognize his potential, Montaro decided to take matters into his own hands. When he struggled to find people willing to produce his beats and bring his songs to life, he taught himself how to create the music he envisioned.

Today, he writes his own material, develops his musical concepts, and produces his records, maintaining creative control over his sound.

Introducing Trap&B

Montaro describes his signature sound as Trap&B, a combination of hard-hitting Hip-Hop production, smooth R&B melodies, street-inspired storytelling, and contemporary swagger.

His debut album, Trap&B Is Da Lane I Chose, introduces listeners to the different sides of his personality and musical versatility.

On his record “Fam Dem,” Montaro explores the meaning of loyalty and family, challenging the belief that blood relationships automatically determine who will stand beside you during difficult times.

Meanwhile, “7 Days” takes listeners in another direction, showcasing his confident, playful personality through the adventures of an international ladies’ man.

The contrast between the two records reflects Montaro’s desire to create music that speaks to different moods, experiences, and audiences without limiting himself to one particular sound.

Building T.N.H. Records

For Montaro, becoming a successful recording artist is only one part of his overall vision.

Through his independent company, T.N.H. Records (Top Notch Hustlers), he is laying the groundwork for a business built around ownership, creative independence, and long-term financial opportunities.

Inspired by the entrepreneurial accomplishments of Master P, Nipsey Hussle, Young Dolph, and Kanye West, Montaro understands the importance of controlling his music and developing multiple streams of income.

Writer, producer, label owner: Montaro keeps creative control in-house.

His ambitions include releasing additional albums, developing new artists, expanding into fashion, launching a television platform, and creating a direct-to-consumer entertainment business.

Rather than focusing exclusively on chart positions or industry recognition, Montaro wants to establish a company that gives him control over both his creativity and his future.

A Different Kind of Hustle

When asked what animal best represents his personality, Montaro identifies with the honey badger, an animal known for its fearless attitude and determination.

It’s a fitting comparison for an artist who has refused to allow his upbringing, limited resources, or lack of industry connections to prevent him from pursuing his goals.

Dinero Montaro isn’t waiting for the music industry to give him an opportunity. He’s creating his own.

His story is also a reminder that there is no expiration date on following your passion. While some artists spend their entire lives preparing for a music career, Montaro is demonstrating what can happen when ambition meets the willingness to learn.

With his debut project Trap&B Is Da Lane I Chose and the development of T.N.H. Records, Dinero Montaro is positioning himself as an independent artist and entrepreneur with a clear vision for his future.

From Chicago’s Southside to building his own entertainment company, Dinero Montaro isn’t waiting for the music industry to give him an opportunity. He’s creating his own.

And for this rising artist, the journey is only beginning.
